Carrot Cake : cooking recipe


  How to cook Carrot Cake :

Work to cream the egg yolks with the sugar. Combine the flour, baking powder and lemon zest. Add the carrots and almonds, mix well. Incorporate finally the egg whites being careful not to remove them. Pour the mixture into a baking pan greased and floured 24 cm and cook the carrot cake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for about 1 hour. Baked carrot cake, let it cool, deformed and cover with icing sugar.

  • Carrots : 250 gr
  • Almonds : 300 gr
  • Flour : 75 gr
  • Sugar : 300 gr
  • Yeast : 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon : half
  • Icing Sugar : to taste
